Europe Trip, August 2007

Hohenschwangau, Germany, Aug 11-14

The view from the top of Tegel Berg. There are several lakes around
Hohenschwangau. This view is looking west down into the
Schwangau valley. Schwan means "swan."

Many people were hang-gliding and parasailing off the top of Tegel Berg.
I'm not sure if they were extremely brave or really stupid.

The parasailors simply run down the steep slope and take off into the air.
As you can see, we're above the clouds. The parasailors catch
the warm updrafts and are in the air for a very long time.

From Tegel Berg, looking southest into the Austrian Alps.
